Trauma Recovery Collaborations

Psychological therapies and medications work!

No one likes to talk about how trauma affects mental health, but we must fight the stigma and lean into finding ways to talk honestly about our concerns and possible solutions.

AboutFace-USA®

Working towards bringing mental health services to North Georgia veterans and their communities, starting with Forsyth, Dawson, Cherokee and Pickens Counties, AboutFace-USA offers several free mental wellness programs for all local veterans and has partnered with clinical experts for confidential therapy sessions, free to veterans and their family members from these counties. We focus on positive psychology, trauma-informed care and behavioral health skills-training.   We offer Veteran-led Support Group meetings in Cumming and Canton Georgia, financial literacy coaching, non-emergency on-call Peer Specialists, an online behavioral health leadership program, and an online guide to healing program.  Perhaps the most powerful options for veterans here at AboutFace are our two Workshops, our Project GROW, and our Homeless Veterans programs.
