Forsyth County Community Collaborations

Several Veteran Organizations – American Legions Post 307, Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) Chapter 1030, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9143, Forsyth County Patriots Alliance (FCPA), Veterans and Community Outreach Foundation (VCOF), Vetbuds, and TEAM Leadership.

National Charity League (NCL) North Atlanta helps us make grocery bag mattresses.

National Alliance on Mental Illness, Forsyth, Dawson, and Lumpkin (NAMI, FDL). Not just for veterans, this organization holds Family Support Group meetings and Connection Support Group meetings (one is for family members of individuals living with a mental illness and the other is for the individual living with a mental illness). They also offer online classes called Family to Family for better understanding of mental illness. www.namifdl.org
